The Posh Tosh Traveling Circus made its way to the quiet town of Ashford Downs one week ago today. They set up their tent and have been entertaining folks from miles around each day from early morning until late in the evening. You can see the lights, smell the animals, and hear the laughter of children and adults all over town. But someone here doesn’t like the circus. Maybe it’s the stale popcorn or scary clowns, but every night letters have appeared around the circus grounds threatening men, women, and animals. Who would do such a thing? As always, the Posh Tosh shuts down during the last day and plans a special midnight performance for closing night. Excitement is in the air, on the ground, and in the cages as everyone prepares their final farewell to Posh Tosh leaving Ashford Downs. But before the Big Top opens for its last performance, there is a murder. It’s up to you and your guests to play detective and figure out whodunit and why.
It’s a whole evening of mystery and deceit - you provide the bodies. After confirming your guest list, assign each person a role and send out their first clues by text or email. This way the fun begins even before the party starts. On the day of the event, guests will be given clues throughout the evening, talk to other guests, and gather information about each character. After some mixing and mingling, the chaos begins - a murder occurs! More clues unravel, and it’s up to the guests to figure out the murderer and the motive.
Share clues, gossip, discover secrets, prove your innocence, and find the killer. Of course, it’s all in good fun. Invite your closest friends and have the time of your life (or death, if you’re the victim). The mystery is best solved with 18 guests, but the game can be played with as few as 8 players.
